Job summary

Concentra in Milwaukee is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to perform routine medical procedures under supervision and support in registration, referral management, and front/back office duties. You will ensure quality patient care and a positive experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include performing DOT testing, assisting clinicians, managing supplies, and handling documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of medical assistant experience
• Knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
• Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Prepare patients for physical exams including vital signs and ancillary testing
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.)
• Assist providers during examination and treatment
• Handle front and back office duties and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain and operate medical devices and equipment with proper calibration and records
