Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in Coon Rapids, MN. The role supports clinicians, performs routine procedures, and handles front and back-office duties to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates will have a completed accredited medical assistant program or at least one year of direct patient care experience, with strong HIPAA and customer service skills. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred.
• Or at least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant.
• Military medical specialist experience (must meet credentials in the state of employment)

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Triage emergent patients as needed and prepare procedure setups.
