Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the team in Hialeah Gardens. You will perform routine medical procedures under supervision, support front and back office tasks, and help ensure an excellent patient experience.

The role emphasizes clinical competency, compassion, HIPAA compliance, and accurate documentation to support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or 1 year of direct patient care as MA.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) preferred.

Responsibilities

• DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams; take vital signs and assist with ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Triaging emergent patients and supporting procedure setup.
