Job summary

Concentra is hiring a Medical Support Specialist to join our patient care team. You will perform routine tests, assist clinicians, and support front/back office tasks to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires clinical competency, attention to detail, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Training and HIPAA compliance are integral parts of daily work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or 1 year of direct patient care as MA.
• Military medical specialist experience may meet credential requirements in state.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Triage emergent patients and manage routine procedures per clinician.
