Job summary

Mercy Health in Cleveland is seeking a skilled supply chain professional to manage specialized medical supply inventories at the site and ensure accurate receiving and storage to support patient care.

You will design par levels, monitor usage, and coordinate with vendors while leading continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring colleagues on ERP and supply chain processes. This role emphasizes accuracy and teamwork within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in inventory management or supply chain (required).
• Lean, 5S, Continuous Improvement experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages specialized medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants; creates and designs new par locations and adjusts items and inventory levels per utilization analysis.
• Inventory management program including inventory turns, excess, stock rotation and expiration date management.
• Manages consignment inventory programs and compliance documentation.
• Submits purchase and bill-only requisitions in compliance with cost accounting and contract policies.
• Conducts research Purchase Order statuses and resolves inventory issues.
• Manages overnight, backorders, and stock out requests per department needs.
• Arranges critical expediting transportation to support patient care.
• Reconciles and remedies shipping errors and recalls.
• Leads continuous process improvement initiatives for supply chain.
• Onboards new associates; mentors and trains on ERP and Supply Chain processes.
