Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage specialized medical supply par locations, inventories and implants, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, training of associates on ERP processes, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain to support patient care. High attention to detail and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage specialized medical supply par locations, inventories, and implants; adjust items and inventory levels.
• Oversee inventory management program including turnover, excess, rotation and expiration tracking.
• Manage consignment inventory programs and compliance documentation.
• Submit purchase and bill-only requisitions per cost accounting and contract policies.
• Monitor Purchase Order statuses and resolve inventory issues.
• Handle overnight/backorder/stock-out requests and communicate impact to leaders.
• Coordinate expediting transportation to support patient care.
• Investigate recalls and maintain recall records.
• Lead or participate in continuous process improvement in Supply Chain.
• Onboard/mentor/train associates on ERP and Supply Chain processes.
