Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Supply Chain professional to manage specialized medical inventories, par locations, and implants at the Greenville site. You will drive inventory turns, reconcile orders, and support patient care through timely expediting and recalls handling.

You will mentor staff, train associates on ERP processes, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Supply Chain department in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Lean, 5S and Continuous Improvement experience required.
• 1 year in inventory management or supply chain functions required; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages specialized medical supply inventories, par locations, and implants.
• Oversees inventory turns, excess stock, rotation and expiration management.
• Manages consignment inventory programs and compliance documentation.
• Submits purchase orders and bill-only requisitions per policies.
• Tracks PO statuses and resolves inventory issues.
• Handles backorders and stock-out requests with department leaders.
• Coordinates critical expediting transportation for patient care.
• Rectifies shipping errors and recalls; maintains records.
• Leads continuous improvement projects in Supply Chain.
