Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, OH seeks a Lead Tech Supply Chain to maintain inventory, accept deliveries, and coordinate stock replenishment across clinical areas. You will lead cycle counts, resolve shortages, and ensure compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards.

The role includes onboarding new associates, mentoring teammates, and supporting performance improvements within the supply chain. Previous inventory roles and familiarity with medical settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in inventory management or supply chain function; Bachelor's degree is acceptable.
• 3 years of experience in medical supply chain operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and orderliness of assigned medical supply stock locations.
• Ensures stock is within expiration dates and rotates stock accordingly; monitors usage and notifies leader when par levels are inadequate.
• Replenishes and maintains inventory in perpetual inventory locations; monitors stock and notifies leader when inventory levels are inadequate.
• Resolves inventory put-away discrepancies and maintains storeroom to JCAHO/OSHA standards.
• Researches Purchase Order statuses and resolves perpetual inventory issues.
• Retrieves, cleans, stores, and delivers moveable medical equipment; returns to ready-for-use staging.
• Transports equipment, supplies, specimens, and mail to locations as needed.
• Onboards new associates and mentors less experienced associates.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and serves as backup to coordinator and supervisor.
