Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Medical Supply Coordinator to manage inventory and distribute supplies across central and unit areas. You will partner with nursing leadership to purchase within budget and prevent emergency orders, while maintaining accurate reorder points and timely restocking.

The role requires familiarity with healthcare supplies, inventory tools, and MS Office. The position is based in a long-term care setting with competitive hourly pay and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be familiar with nursing and medical supplies used in long-term care or healthcare.
• Must have a working knowledge of inventory management tools, online purchasing system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email), other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and nursing supplies inventory by organizing and distributing supplies within central supply and other designated areas.
• Develop and place weekly orders and monitor supply usage with reporting to nursing and administration.
• Establish and maintain reorder point information for routinely used products.
• Restock unit-based locations and patient rooms from central supply to ensure nursing customer satisfaction.
• Verify items on invoices are priced correctly.
• Ensure proper receipt of medical and nursing supply shipments by matching items on manifests and purchase orders.
