Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Medical Supply Coordinator to manage nursing and medical supplies inventory across central supply and patient areas, ensuring timely restocking and accurate order placement.

You will partner with nursing leadership to monitor spend against budgets, maintain reorder points, verify invoices, and ensure readiness while minimizing emergencies; prior experience with healthcare inventory systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be familiar with nursing and medical supplies used in long-term care or healthcare.
• Must have a working knowledge of inventory management tools, online purchasing system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email), other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and nursing supplies inventory across central supply and designated areas.
• Develop and place weekly orders; monitor and report on supply utilization.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to purchase within budget, minimize emergencies.
• Establish and maintain reorder point information for routinely used products.
• Restock unit-based locations and patient rooms to ensure nursing customer satisfaction.
• Verify items on invoices are priced correctly.
