Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Staff Services Manager to lead the hospital-based MSSD, overseeing credentialing, privileging, governance, and regulatory readiness to ensure compliant, efficient provider credentialing across the system.

You will partner with CVO, hospital leadership, and other stakeholders, recruit and develop staff, and drive FPPE/OPPE processes while maintaining compliance with TJC, NCQA, CMS and state/federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience required and 1-3 years supervisory/management experience.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct leadership and oversight of the Medical Staff Services Department (MSSD).
• Collaborates with CVO and leadership to support credentialing and privileging processes.
• Oversees credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging of hospital providers.
• Manages data submissions for delegation audits by insurers and regulatory bodies.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of provider data in credentialing databases.
• Develops policies, procedures, and staff performance initiatives.
