Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead credentialing, privileging, and governance across the facility. You will manage supplier relations with CPC, oversee policy development, and coordinate medical staff committees to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

You will maintain bylaw updates, supervise budgeting and annual plans, and provide expert guidance on CMS/HCA policies.

Qualifications

• Develop facility credentialing policies in accordance with accreditation/regulatory standards.
• Coordinate committees and leadership council for practitioner health and conduct.
• Prepare credentialing reports for medical staff leaders and boards.
• Maintain governance documents (bylaws, rules, policies) and annual review process.
• Act as liaison between facility, Division MSS and CPC and manage system access provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead credentialing and privileging processes per CPC and MSS policies.
• Coordinate key medical staff committees and meetings; ensure follow-up actions.
• Prepare reports and maintain medical staff governance documents.
• Administer and monitor credentialing data in Cactus and MEDITECH systems.
• Support physician credentialing data accuracy and communications.
