Job summary

A respected nonprofit health system with 700+ beds is seeking an experienced Director of Medical Staff Services to lead a physician-facing function central to governance and patient care.

This leadership role oversees MEC coordination, credentialing and privileging, regulatory compliance, and physician relations across two hospital campuses. You will manage a five-person team and drive bylaws revisions and strategic education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Medical Staff Services in a large health system.
• Expertise in MEC processes, governance, bylaws, credentialing and privileging.
• Strong communication with physicians; CPMSM or CPCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Medical Staff Services across two hospital campuses.
• Oversee MEC coordination, medical staff committees and regulatory compliance.
• Drive credentialing, privileging and governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with VP Medical Affairs, executives, and legal counsel.
• Lead bylaws revision and physician education initiatives.
