Job summary

Phoenix Defense, LLC. is seeking a highly qualified Medical Educator to support MSTC in Orlando-area or CONUS locations. The role focuses on EMT, Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TC3) combat trauma simulation, medical evacuation, and related instruction in both classroom and field environments.

The educator will operate high-fidelity simulators, develop realistic scenarios, review curricula, and contribute to program improvements. Travel and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR
• An Associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR
• A Major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR
• 11 years of recent specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a medical educator for MSTC with didactic and psychomotor instruction in EMT, TC3, combat trauma, medical evacuation, force protection, CBRNE and primary care.
• Assist with planning and conducting field training exercises using special effects to create lifelike combat scenarios.
• Operate and maintain Human Patient Simulators and trainers, including scenario building and moulage.
• Research and revise simulation exercises; assess student thinking and psychomotor skills for certification readiness.
• Review lesson plans and evaluate outcomes through student critiques, tests, and progress monitoring.
• Design and develop on-site and online training programs and curricula for software and hardware.
• Teach short technical courses to maintain proficiency and develop new instructional techniques.
• Incorporate new curriculum into teaching; develop examples to illustrate concepts; maintain professional classroom techniques.
• Develop alternative teaching techniques to sustain motivation and interest; serve as testing officer when required.
