Job summary

OrthoArizona in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Medical Scribe to support orthopedic specialists and sports medicine professionals. This entry-level role offers exposure to various diagnostics, laboratory results, and treatment modalities while you build essential clinical skills.

You will work closely with experienced staff, documenting patient encounters and learning about presentations and management of musculoskeletal conditions in a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Fast and accurate typing skills preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accompany orthopedic surgeons in the exam room to document patient visits.
• Type detailed notes including HPI, exams, imaging dictations, assessments and plans.
• Input diagnosis codes and office visit orders.
• Receive a letter of recommendation attesting to your dedication and skills.

If you are a Pre-Med, Pre-PA, or Pre-Nursing candidate eager to gain firsthand experience in patient care, this position will enable you to acquire knowledge about various orthopedic diagnostics, laboratory results, and treatment modalities while deepening your understanding of diverse orthopedic conditions, their presentations, and management approaches.

Starting Pay: $15.15 per hour
