Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Cardiovascular Metabolic in Upstate New York. The role is field-based, covering Buffalo and Rochester, NY, engaging with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance Amgen’s scientific platform.

You will educate on clinical value and economic data for payers and providers, support investigator-initiated studies, and collaborate across teams to achieve local MSL goals and speaker training.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/DO/PharmD level education with medical affairs experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs is preferred.
• Experience focusing on cardio-metabolic diseases is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage with cardiometabolic KOLs and healthcare decision-makers to communicate scientific platform.
• Provide clinical and economic data to payers, providers, and formulary committees.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and sponsor research as applicable.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and contribute to local MSL plans and speaker training.
