Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison to cover the Cardiovascular Metabolic portfolio for the Upstate New York territory, including Buffalo and Rochester. You will interact with KOLs and healthcare decision-makers to advance the scientific platform and communicate clinical data.

The role is field-based with responsibilities to educate payers, providers, and IDNs, support investigator-initiated studies, and contribute to local engagement plans and congress activities.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a Doctorate, or Master’s with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees (Pharm. D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O.) and 5+ years in Medical Affairs at biotech/pharma.
• Cardio-metabolic expertise is desirable for this MSL role.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic key opinion leaders and payers to communicate scientific data.
• Educate on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to advance Amgen’s platform.
• Develop and implement local engagement plans and contribute to congress activities.
