Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Cardiovascular Metabolic in Upstate New York, covering Buffalo and Rochester. This field-based role focuses on engaging with cardiovascular and metabolic clinicians to advance Amgen's scientific platform and therapeutic data.

You will educate healthcare partners on clinical and economic value, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive local engagement plans aligned with annual goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or MD/PhD/DO with Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech
• Masters with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience
• Bachelor's with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance scientific platform
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, and key partners
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees and share insights with internal teams
