Job summary

Amgen in Northern Ohio seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Cardiovascular Metabolic therapeutic area. This field-based role will engage with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance Amgen's scientific platform in line with organizational goals.

You will educate on clinical value, outcomes, and payer data; provide clinical and economic support to payers and IDNs; and lead local engagement plans, speaker training, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with cardiometabolic KOLs and healthcare decision-makers to communicate scientific data.
• Educate payers, providers, and access partners on clinical value and outcomes.
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers and IDNs and share insights with internal teams.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement MSL strategies.
• Support congress activities and speaker training as requested.
