Qualifikationen

• Two years scheduling experience in a multi-specialty clinic preferred.
• HIPAA privacy and security guidelines must be followed.

Aufgaben

• Schedule follow up/return visits for patients.
• Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures.
• Discuss patient instructions for procedures with patient.
• Calls patients to schedule procedures and send follow-up letters.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity, and online paging systems; retrieve information from other hospital systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA.
