Job summary

Metric Bio seeks an entry-level Medical Sales Associate to cover the South Bend, IN and Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, MI territory. The role includes hands-on training in the field and OR, with a clear path to ownership as competencies grow, reporting to the District Sales Manager.

The position focuses on building product knowledge, prospecting, and developing relationships with physicians and clinical staff while representing the company professionally at territory events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance per policy.
• Ability to travel ~50% of the time.
• Demonstrated success in a previous sales role with strong performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathy and compassion for patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports the DSM with case coverage, account servicing, and lead follow-up across the territory.
• Shadows OR cases and clinical work to build foundational product and programming knowledge.
• Assists in prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within the territory.
• Helps build and maintain relationships with physicians, decision makers, and clinical staff.
• Represents the company professionally at territory events, with patient outcomes held in the highest regard.
