Koch Foods, Inc. is seeking a Safety/HSE Associate to provide first aid and respond to work-related injuries on the production floor.

The role requires confidentiality when handling medical records and coordinating drug testing, hearing tests, and random screenings as needed. Daily safety inspections and monthly safety meetings are part of the position, along with other duties as assigned to maintain a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• EMT license required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certified required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide first aid and treat work-related injuries.
• Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure compliance.
• Maintain medical records with confidentiality.
• Schedule drug testing and hearing tests as needed.
• Lead monthly safety meetings.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
