Koch Foods, Inc. seeks a Safety/First Aid professional for its Collegedale, TN facility to provide on-site medical support and safety oversight.

This role handles first aid, injury treatment, and confidential medical recordkeeping during a 3rd shift, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Responsibilities include routine safety inspections, post-offer drug testing coordination, hearing tests, and monthly safety meetings.

Qualifications

• EMT license required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and treat all work-related injuries.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
