Naval Medical Center Portsmouth is seeking a Medical Records Technician and receptionist/release of information clerk to serve in the Data Flow Branch, Medical Information Services Division, Patient Administration, at Portsmouth, Virginia.

The role requires handling clerical duties, telephone calls, and retrieval of information from automated systems while maintaining records in a DoD facility under the DHA.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience including clerical duties such as answering telephone calls and written correspondence; retrieving information from automated systems; and maintaining records.
• Four years of education above high school obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
• A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
