The role performs quality-control reviews, supports daily workflow, and trains staff on document-processing procedures and standards.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of medical-record content, HIPAA privacy/security, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Healthcare setting experience required (1 year)
• BLS certification or obtaining within 90 days of hire
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Review 100% of scanned images for legibility and quality
• Index documents to correct patient, encounter, and type
• Verify document names and locations
• Split/merge/insert/append pages as needed
• Perform routine quality reviews and daily processing
• Produce productivity and accuracy reports
• Train new and existing staff on procedures and standards
• Maintain forms index and communicate changes to staff
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and laws
