Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Experience with medical records systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain organized patient medical records (physical and electronic).
• Scan, file, print, copy, and verify records data.
• Retrieve records for healthcare professionals on request.
• Facilitate release of records to authorized individuals while complying with HIPAA and OSHA.
• Audit records for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Attend all regular meetings.
• Perform tasks as assigned by Medical Records Supervisor.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
