You will handle chart filing, liaise with the transcription service, and ensure secure off-site storage while adhering to medico-legal requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform collection, processing, filing and maintenance of medical records.
• Arrange chart forms and correspondence reports in proper order.
• Adhere to medico-legal requirements when handling inquiries.
• Obtain missing chart contents to complete medical records.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of documents.
• Arrange off-site storage for microfilming.
• Liaise between surgery center and transcription company.
