R1 RCM Inc. seeks an HIM Specialist to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completion of the facility’s health records to support treatment, continuity of care, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and legal needs.

You will analyze health records for completeness, monitor deficiencies, and assist with document preparation, scanning, indexing, and quality review of paper documents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Health Information Management, medical records, or a related healthcare administrative role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical record processes such as record analysis, deficiency tracking, scanning, and indexing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet quality and productivity standards.

Responsabilités

• Maintain health record integrity through record analysis, deficiency monitoring, and registry maintenance.
• Support the completion of the Legal Medical Record for the health ministry.
• Perform medical record retrieval, preparation, scanning, indexing, and quality review of paper documents as assigned.
• Work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, productivity, and compliance are essential.
• Contribute to continuity of care and organizational compliance through effective health information management.
