Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare documentation standards.
• Prior experience in medical records management, preferably in long-term care or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain accurate medical records, updating documentation per regulatory standards.
• Compile, organize, and maintain residents' medical records in electronic and paper formats.
• Audit charting timeliness and notify appropriate personnel.
• Function as a liaison between Nursing Department and vendors as needed.
