Chapters Health System is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Processor in Virginia to assemble, analyze, and maintain medical records according to established procedures. The position emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure timely chart completion and quality data for patient care planning.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, preferably an HIM certificate, and strong organizational, communication, and EHR

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Up to one year of office experience preferred, preferably in a medical setting.
• Health Information Management Certificate or HIT PRO Certificate preferred.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate EHR easily.
• Knowledge of medical record format and content.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to bend and reach overhead.
