Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembling and tracking admissions paperwork to establish a medical record for each patient.
• Audit admission documents for timeliness and completeness, including consents, elections, certifications, and letters of medical necessity.
• Enter signature dates into the EMR and monitor the integrity of orders with signed copies scanned.
• Complete tracking and timely processing of medical records for discharged or deceased patients, ensuring finalization within 30 days.
• Supervise volunteers in the HIM office and prepare paperwork for team meetings and hospice medical directors.
