Responsibilities

• Assemble, analyze, and maintain medical records per established procedure.
• Ensure completeness of charts before discharge and obtain physician signatures.
• Request prior medical records as indicated and file/scan documents accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy rules.
• Escalate chart deficiencies to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance activities as applicable.
