Description: The Medical Records Coordinator will maintain medical records and prepare patient information for provider daily clinics.
This is a casual role/temporary position based out of ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility - Edina.
ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential functions:
- Request charts for upcoming appointments
- Scan patient information into electronic medical record
- Verify patient information is accurate and up to date in electronic medical record
- Prepare for patient appointments, including patient face sheet, portal forms, worksheet, diagnostic results, and other provider requests
- Distribute Efax reports daily
- Ensure inter-office correspondence is distributed and documented in a timely manner
- Maintain records area
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Education, experience, & other requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous Medical Records experience preferred
