Qualifications

QualDerm Partners is seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide top-notch assistance during patient consultations and procedures, manage patient records, and support the overall operations of our clinic. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist patients for examination by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and answering queries
  • Support providers during examinations and minor surgical procedures, ensuring the necessary equipment and supplies are available and ready
  • Perform basic laboratory procedures and ensure proper handling of specimens
  • Maintain an organized and updated patient record system while adhering to confidentiality standards
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up processes, including appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Educate patients on treatment protocols and skin care procedures as advised by healthcare providers
  • Keep examination rooms and work areas sanitized and well-stocked with supplies


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical environment is highly valued
  • Understanding of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology and cosmetic procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities in a busy healthcare setting
