Job description

The Lead Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care in the clinic and performing related administrative duties. This role also supports the Medical Assistant team and daily clinic operations. Ogi-Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is a division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health).


Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with one day a week closing at 8:30am to 5pm, based at Edina OGI Clinic, with flexibility to work at Edina and Maple Grove locations. Every 7th Saturday in Maple Grove is a half-day.


Ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices led by physicians, dedicated to empowering patients with more control over their healthcare.


Essential Functions:
  • Oversee daily operations and staff productivity; ensure excellent patient service and care delivery.
  • Coordinate work schedules, staffing levels, coverage, and breaks.
  • Partner with supervisors for staff recognition, development, and coaching.
  • Train and assist Medical Assistants as needed.
  • Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Verify patient information, record medical histories, and confirm visit purposes.
  • Measure and document vital signs and other health information.
  • Perform blood draws and in-house tests.
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations.
  • Provide patient instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Ensure all reports and lab results are filed correctly in patient records.
  • Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies.
  • Keep logs and perform required checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant or MLT program.
  • Certification from AAMA or AMT, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Willingness to train externs; x-ray license preferred or willingness to obtain.

  • $750 sign-on bonus with a 12-month commitment (internal applicants excluded).
