Antelope Valley SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to assist the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse with day-to-day recording and charting of medical and administrative information in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will maintain the Daily Census Report, roster of residents, and transcription of physician orders, while ensuring timely updates to care plans and charts. Responsibilities include admissions/discharges support and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Formación

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Record medical and administrative information following policies and procedures.
• Maintain Daily Census Report and roster of residents.
• Transcribe physicians' orders to care plans and medical records.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges; arrange transportation as needed.
• Notify next-of-kin of changes in resident condition and coordinate with departments.
• Attend in-service trainings and contribute to infection control programs.
