Antelope Valley Care Center is seeking a General Purpose Medical Records Clerk to support the Nurse Supervisor by recording and charting medical information and maintaining resident rosters and census data.

You will transcribe orders, manage documentation, and assist with admissions, discharges, and communication with families. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work within healthcare regulations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Record medical and administrative information per charting policies.
• Maintain Daily Census Report and resident rosters.
• Process orders, diet changes, and care plans; transcribe physician orders.
• Notify next-of-kin of changes in resident condition and assist with admissions/discharges.
• Attend facility meetings and support Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as needed.
