Job summary

Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY is hiring an LPN to support Medical Records. You will review and assemble resident records, ensuring completeness and proper identification in the filing system.

Qualifications

• Active KY LPN license is required.
• 2-4 years of recordkeeping experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with resident records and recordkeeping protocol.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing medical records for completeness.
• Assembles medical records into a standard order.
• Responsible for filing records in designated areas according to Sayre Christian Village’s applicable alphabetic and numeric filing system
• Ensure that patients’ initial medical charts are complete.
• Ensure all medical charts are completed and properly identified and signed.
• Responsible for store discharges and shredding discharges as needed.
• Responsible for monitoring HIPPA compliance.
