Job summary

Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care to residents, conduct rounds, administer medications, and support care plans.

Qualifications

• Active KY Licensed Practical Nurse License.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience in Skilled Nursing, Dementia Care, Short-Term Rehab, or Orthopedics preferred
• Familiarity with resident care plans and nursing protocols
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding nursing care tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Conducting daily rounds and assessments to update care plans.
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV fluids with accurate documentation.
• Communicating with residents and families, offering guidance and emotional support.
• Supervising and mentoring SRNAs to foster teamwork and quality care.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily rounds and assessments to develop and update care plans.
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV fluids while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Communicating with residents and families, offering guidance and emotional support.
• Supervising and mentoring State Registered Nursing Assistants (SRNAs) to foster teamwork and quality care.
