Job summary

Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY, is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our Medical Records team. You will review and assemble patient records, ensure completeness, and support HIPAA compliance in a faith-based nonprofit community.

Qualifications

• Active KY LPN license required.
• 2-4 years of recordkeeping in long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with resident records and recordkeeping protocol.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records for completeness.
• Assemble records in standard order.
• File records according to Sayre Christian Village's alphabetic and numeric filing system.
• Ensure initial charts are complete.
• Ensure all charts are completed and properly identified and signed.
• Store discharges and shredding discharges as needed.
• Monitor HIPAA compliance.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing medical records for completeness.


• Assembles medical records into a standard order.


• Responsible for filing records in designated areas according to Sayre Christian Village's applicable alphabetic and numeric filing system


• Ensure that patients' initial medical charts are complete.


• Ensure all medical charts are completed and properly identified and signed.


• Responsible for store discharges and shredding discharges as needed.


• Responsible for monitoring HIPPA compliance.
