Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the day shift to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. You will perform rounds, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, and ensure precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Active KY RN license required.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience in Skilled Nursing, Dementia Care, Short-Term Rehab, or Orthopedics preferred.
• Familiarity with resident care plans and nursing protocols.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Conduct daily rounds and assessments to update care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids with accurate documentation.
• Communicate with residents and families, offering guidance and support.
• supervise and mentor SRNAs to foster teamwork and quality care.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Delivering outstanding nursing care tailored to each resident's unique needs.
• Conducting daily rounds and assessments to develop and update care plans.
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV fluids while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Communicating with residents and families, offering guidance and emotional support.
• Supervising and mentoring State Registered Nursing Assistants (SRNAs) to foster teamwork and quality care.
