Job summary

Mia Aesthetics is hiring a Clinical Operations Specialist to support administrative, finance and pre-operative clinical duties. You will handle payments, scheduling, patient records and inventory while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires at least 1–2 years in customer service, a CMA with active certification, and bilingual English/Spanish in a workplace that emphasizes safety and patient care. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Active Registered or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Plastic Surgery knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience working in an operating room preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• HIPAA & OSHA Compliance Certification preferred.
• Maintains and holds an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude with patients and vendors.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
• Promotes continued improvement of patient care and customer service.
• Tracks inventory for surgical and clinical supplies.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records (HIPAA).
• Ensures a safe, secure and healthy work environment per OSHA/regulations.
• Handle pre-operative payments and scheduling; process invoices and transactions.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist during the day-of-surgery process.
