Job summary

Physicians Care in South Pittsburg, TN seeks experienced Medical Receptionists to join our team and support patients and medical staff. The role focuses on greeting patients, processing registrations, and assisting with the front-desk workflow.

Full-time with rotating 36-40 hour weeks; PRN options available. A high school diploma, basic computer literacy, and EMR familiarity are required, with prior medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, filing, faxing, scanning documents and completing daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients and support clinical staff.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics and process payments.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow health and safety procedures.
