Greater Family Health in Elgin, IL is hiring a friendly receptionist to welcome patients, register them, and schedule appointments across multiple sites. This full-time role supports the clinic’s daily operations and ensures smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, collecting payments, and updating patient records in the EPM/EHR system. Travel to NW Suburbs sites may be required; basic computer skills and a cooperative, fast-paced attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certification.
• Travel to other health centers within NW Suburbs; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to the clinic, determine their needs and respond accordingly.
• Perform preparation for the day’s clinic, provide all necessary paperwork for patient completion, and review registration/aid patients in completing any necessary forms.
• Input patient information in the EPM/EHR System.
• Answer/distribute phone calls to appropriate staff members and schedule appointments for patients.
• Verify patient insurance and collect payments.
• Report to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities; location of work sites and shifts will change at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
