Job summary

GREATER FAMILY HEALTH in Palatine, IL seeks a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will greet patients, assist with check-in and registration, and help maintain medical records and scheduling for a smooth clinic flow.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer familiarity, and strong customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and confidentiality is essential. Some lifting may be required; training and supervision are provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and determine their needs.
• Prepare for next day, same day, and walk-in appointments.

• Enter patient information in the EHR accurately.
• Process payments and verify charges.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Follow PCMH policies and procedures.
• Report to work sites and shifts as assigned by supervisor.
• Engage in training and feedback from supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
