Job summary

Allied Physicians CamKids Pediatrics in Cambria Heights, NY is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check in, and support front-desk operations. The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and bilingual English/Haitian Creole communication.

Typical hours are full-time, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays. The position includes benefits and the opportunity to work in a team-oriented pediatric practice focused on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Medical Receptionist experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English and Haitian Creole required.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional approach.
• Schedule appointments, register patients, and maintain accurate patient information.
• Answer phones, manage messages, and assist with office communication.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and assist with referrals, forms, and scanning.
• Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay organized, professional, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
