Job summary

Allied Physicians Kids Care Pediatrics - Elmont seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check in, schedule appointments, verify insurance and answer calls. You’ll support front desk operations across two offices with a high level of professionalism and teamwork.

We prefer 1–3 years of receptionist experience, proficiency with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia, and bilingual English/Spanish. Competitive pay starts at $20/hour, with benefits and a supportive, community‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Medical Receptionist experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients while providing excellent customer service
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration
• Answer phones, process messages, and assist with general office communication
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information
• Support referrals, forms, scanning, and front desk administrative tasks
• Assist patients and families with questions regarding office processes and appointments
• Adapt quickly to different office workflows and team environments
• Travel between offices based on operational needs
