Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Hollywood, FL seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist to welcome patients and visitors, gather and update demographic and insurance information, and handle check-in and check-out processes.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong customer service, and basic computer skills. You will coordinate payments, schedule follow-ups, and support front-desk operations across our offices, including travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical office experience preferred.
• Driver's license must be active and valid upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients upon arrival, update demographics and insurance, collect co-pays and balances, and collect consents and health questionnaires.
• Check-out patients, collect balances, provide visit summaries and referral information, and schedule follow-ups.
• Verify patient insurance and contact patients if insurance is not active or PCP not appropriate.
• Post charges and payments; reconcile charges.
• Scan and upload documents; manage mail and maintain a clean waiting area.
