Job description

Join a dynamic and fast-paced clinic environment as a Medical Receptionist, where you will play an essential role in patient intake and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with check-in and checkout procedures at the front desk.
2. Coordinating phone calls and providing necessary information.
3. Managing administrative information and data entry accurately.
4. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and patient access.
• Knowledge of health insurance fundamentals including deductibles, copays, and distinctions between Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic computing skills, including daily computer use or typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Medical terminology and patient access experience.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
