Job summary

The Role is a Full-Time front desk position at Binson’s in Center Line, MI, focused on delivering a smooth patient experience in the Orthotics & Prosthetics department. You will manage intake, coordinate with physicians and insurers, and organize equipment pick-up and delivery.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; requires a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience. Competitive pay and opportunities to grow within a family-owned healthcare company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year front desk reception or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or clinical setting.
  • Basic understanding of medical insurance terminology (referrals, authorizations, co-insurance).
  • Proficiency with basic office software and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors upon arrival, check them in and out, and ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and accessible.
  • Distribute, collect, and review patient intake, ensuring all demographic information, medical history, and consent forms are accurately entered into the system.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments for initial evaluations, casting/scanning, device fittings, and follow-up adjustments, optimizing the daily schedules for our clinical staff.
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service, and provide accurate receipts.
  • Answer incoming clinic phone calls and address basic inquiries.
  • Manage incoming prescriptions and physician referrals, create accurate patient charts, and assist in tracking the progress of orthotic and prosthetic orders to ensure timely delivery of care.
